Project Description

Based on our track record with other destination tourism accounts and experience in dealing with public sector clients, Collier County hired us. They needed us to reposition their Florida Gulf Coast tourism resort destination and introduce and promote new image branding.

Challenge: A very large and diverse area, Collier County had the need to promote two separate beachfront destinations (Naples and Marco Island) along with the Greater Naples area off the beaches and the natural state and national preserve lands in and around Everglades National Park. Providing a full range of marketing strategy development, advertising, web site development, collateral development, public relations and marketing support services, we created their new logo and name: “Greater Naples Marco Island Everglades” and descriptor: “Classic Florida.”

Outcome: The agency launched a successful summer advertising campaign (online and offline) promoting the value vacation season (May to December). The agency also developed and launched the destination’s first web site featuring activities, culture and heritage, meeting planning and an online pressroom with high-resolution photo images available for download.
