News broke out online regarding a Super 8 hotel evicting a homeless couple from a room paid in advance because they had no ID.

  • Super 8 Hotels was not our client at the time of the crisis, however they are part of Wyndham Hotel Group, we represent several Wyndham brands on social media.
  • Several of the Wyndham Hotel Group brands managed by the agency became the target of an online boycott campaign for an eviction of a homeless couple at a franchised Super 8 property.
  • Working alongside Wyndham’s PR team, we monitored, engaged with commenters and reported on the comments received throughout the life of this protest.
  • Once a calrifying statement was released, negative commentary subsided and channels returned to a positive sentiment.
